Note: There are two types of Donor Activist Codes: Public and those that are private to your electoral district (or committee) – (24054 – Your Riding). When the donor activist code is Public, this means that anyone who has a relationship with your riding and is also a donor will be accessible to you. The information is shared across committees. When the activist code is specific to your committee, only those in your committee will have access to this information. You can see which information is shared or not by looking at the information in parentheses.

For example, if you were to build a list of your 2012 Donors without specifying the riding, you would obtain a list of all donors who have any relationship with your riding, including those from other ridings.

Note: Since the Donor Activist Code is Public, you’ll need to narrow your search to your riding to have an accurate count of your riding’s donors.

7. To narrow your search to your riding only:

  1. Scroll down to the Location box and click the (>) to open the box. Select your Riding.

Location Updated

2. Your list will now only include donors from your riding.

8. You can input other parameters into your search. When you are done, select Search to build your list.

Run Search

NOTE: If you put in other parameters, outside of the “Activist Code” module your list will include people that meet all the 1 or more of the traits from each module. For example, if you select the Activist Code “Donor 2012” and you also go into the Member Module and select “Active” for membership status, your list will only include individuals that are both “Active Members” and have the Activist Code “Donor 2012”.
