You may have heard that Canada is moving from 308 to 338 ridings for the next federal election.
Liberalist is being transitioned to the new 338 ridings on Tuesday, April 1. This means that all existing EDA accounts will be deactivated on April 1 and new riding accounts will be available as of that date, subject to your new Riding President’s authorization. This transition will not affect Liberalist accounts created to support Nomination Contestants, Commission Liberalist accounts, or Liberalist accounts at the national and provincial level.
We regret any inconvenience caused during this time. We know that local organizers around the country are using Liberalist every day to reach out to Canadians and build capacity. Our team will be working around the clock to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.
How will new accounts be authorized and created?
The Presidents of the newly founded Electoral District Associations have received an email about this transition, including a description of what Liberalist is, how it can be used, and a rapid method for authorizing new Liberalist access.
The Campaign Technologies Team will be processing these requests on a first come, first serve basis. You may want to contact your Riding President about this process to ensure they get their account requests in as quickly as possible.
If you would like to make the access request yourself, you can apply online athttp://liberalist.liberal.ca/reqaccess/.
Thank you for your assistance and your patience during this transition.
